"330 CMPs and Nurses Online Training — Academic Exchange Forum"

Over 330 healthcare professionals participated in the free Zoom seminar, "Academic Exchange Forum on Chinese Medicine and Nursing — Cancer Treatment (1.5 CNE / CME points)."

Cancer is the leading cause of death in Hong Kong. The treatment process often involves various side effects that leave patients physically and mentally exhausted. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to today’s two speakers, Dr. Ng Kim Pong (Specialist in Medical Oncology) and Dr. Mak Yin King (Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner, PhD), for helping healthcare professionals gain an interdisciplinary understanding of cancer. During the seminar, Dr. Ng deconstructed cancer detection and treatment methods from a Western medical perspective, while Dr. Mak analyzed how to alleviate discomfort during the course of cancer treatment. We trust that everyone benefited greatly from these insights.
